Istria Villa Rentals by Location

Rovinj
Rovinj is known for its harbour, cobbled old town and the Church of St Euphemia rising above the waterfront. As elsewhere in Istria, July and August are the busiest months, so we recommend booking early if you plan to travel then. See all villas in Rovinj.

When to Rent a Villa in Istria
July and August are the busiest months and the main season for swimming and beach holidays. Larger villas and popular locations are often booked early, so plan ahead if your dates are fixed.
May, June, September and early October are usually quieter and well suited to sightseeing, cycling and food and wine experiences. If swimming in the pool is important to you outside the summer months, check whether pool heating is available for your dates.
Frequently Asked Questions About Villas in Istria
How much does it cost to rent a villa in Istria?
Prices depend on the season, location, size of the villa and its facilities, and rates are usually highest in July and August. Each villa page shows the price for your selected dates, together with any additional charges.
What is included in the price?
Bed linen and towels are included. Final cleaning is included for many villas. Where it is not, or where other charges apply, such as tourist tax, pets or pool heating, this is shown below the villa's price list, during booking and in your voucher. Most villas also require a refundable security deposit, paid on arrival.
Is there a minimum stay?
It depends on the villa and the season. In peak season, most villas are rented for a minimum of seven nights, usually from Saturday to Saturday. Outside the peak season, shorter stays are often possible.
Do villas in Istria have heated pools?
Selected villas offer a heated pool. Heating may be charged additionally, may only be available in certain periods and also depends on weather conditions. Villas with pool heating list it in their highlights.
Can I bring my dog or other pets?
Many villas accept pets, but not all of them. Pet-friendly villas are marked in their highlights, and additional fees and house rules may apply.
Do I need a car?
Many villas are located in villages or in the countryside, so a car is usually the most practical way to get around and explore Istria. If you need help with transfers, please contact us.
How far in advance should I book?
For July and August, we recommend booking well in advance, especially for larger villas and popular locations. Outside the peak season, availability is usually more flexible.
